Spring Term

The Spring term was just as busy as ever in Sapphire Class! We started off with another WOW day to introduce our under the sea topic where we had to solve the mystery of the whale in the pond! We had to get Greenpeace involved and then thought about what makes a good habitat for whales and all creatures under the sea.  

Our parents came in to work with us for a maths IMPaCT workshop which we really enjoyed. We went swimming to Sibford every week, we learnt about being safe on the Internet during Safer Internet Day, we went to a Church service to welcome Mrs Welsby as the Headteacher, we had a taster tennis lesson, enjoyed a talk from the RNLI about beach safety and celebrated Mothers Day with a special tea party. Phew! We needed the Easter break to get over such a busy term!
